About Ay Güey

Amamos nuestra historia – we love our story. ¡Ay Güey! was founded in Mexico in 2007 by Miguel Ángel Rodríguez with one simple conviction: Mexico deserves to be represented through well-made pieces that people are proud to wear. "Hecho en México" should stand for quality, not compromise.

Made in Mexico. Really.

Every Ay Güey tee is designed and made in Mexico – by the people who bring this culture to life. Almost every design comes from Mexican artists and draws on symbols of the country's heritage: calaveras and Día de los Muertos, Lucha Libre, mariachi, Aztec and Maya motifs and legends. Each piece tells a story – it is more than a print.

Craft, not mass production

What makes Ay Güey unmistakable is the finishing: rhinestones and studs set by hand, velvety flock appliqués, raised puff prints, shimmer and gel prints with gold effect, classic screen printing and sublimation. The pieces are made to keep their colour, detail and presence for years – not to fade after a few washes.

Ay Güey Europe

Ay Güey Europe is the brand's official distributor in Europe, operated by MYMELANDO AG in Switzerland. We currently ship throughout Switzerland from our warehouse in Zurich – prices in Swiss francs, no customs charges. Deliveries to Germany, Austria, France and Spain will follow soon from our warehouse in Germany. From 3 November 2026 you'll find our store at Torgasse 6 in Zurich, where you can touch and try on the collection.
